James MacPherson was born in Cambridge, Ma. His family moved to Wilmington Ma. where James was an All-star football player in high school. He moved to Florida to purse acting. After living in Florida and working for Fed-Ex, he said to himself, “if I want to get serious [about acting], i need to move to California.” He did so and enrolled in the William Alderson Studio; Alderson was director for Neighborhood Playhouse in NY for 20 years. James studied with Alderson for five years.
A few feature films and TV shows James has worked on include, “Hollywood Confidential” with Vernon Wells, “Phase Two,” “Dexter,” “CSI,” “Six Feet Under,” “General Hospital,” “Days of Our Lives” and a recurring role on “Port Charles.”
James plays Gavin Stone, Travis’ callous boss in “The Deadlines.”
